Vat is a premium, 100% active, powdered, heavy-duty hot tank cleaner and stripper for iron, steel, titanium, and magnesium. Rapidly removes grease, dirt, oil, loose carbon deposits, engine varnish, light rust, engine enamels and paints. Contains alkalis, a high level of biodegradable emulsifier for enhanced cleaning and prolonged vat life, corrosion inhibitors and a special "chelating" agent that helps remove paint, prevent flash rusting and inhibits the formation of rust sludge. Mix 1/2 cup to 1 1/4 pound per gallon of water. Not for use on aluminum or other soft metals. White powder with strong caustic odor.
